Jeremy Welborn

Interim Worship Pastor

Jeremy grew up in Lawton and surrendered his life to Christ when he was eight years old. Feeling called into full time ministry leadership after graduating from Eisenhower High School, Jeremy served on staff at First Baptist West in Lawton for five years before serving at churches in Copperas Cove, Texas, Coweta, Oklahoma, Yukon, Oklahoma, Richmond, Virginia, and in an interim position in Fletcher, Oklahoma before coming back to First Baptist West. While his full time work is now in church insurance and risk management, Jeremy still loves to serve the church through his involvement in the worship and student ministries of the church.

Keith Sahr

Student & Family Pastor

Keith Sahr has served as the Student and Family Ministries Pastor since December 2023. Keith was born and raised in Lawton, OK and graduated from Eisenhower HS and Cameron University. He is happily married to his wife, Kaylee, and they have one beautiful daughter.

He surrendered his life to the Lord in December 2015 and answered a call to ministry in May 2018.

Bruno Rojas

Spanish Church Pastor

Bruno Rojas is a pastor and church planter. He was born in Venezuela, where he lived until the age of 26 and came to faith in Christ at 18. He earned a degree in Architecture from the Central University of Venezuela and served the Lord throughout his time in his home country. In 2017, he moved to the United States, where he earned a Master’s degree in Theological Studies with a concentration in Pastoral Ministry and received church planting training through the North American Mission Board. Bruno firmly believes that salvation is by the grace of God and that serving Christ is an undeserved privilege. He is married to Plashiel Rojas and is the father of two precious daughters. He currently serves as an Associate Pastor at First Baptist West Church and as the Lead Pastor of Iglesia Bautista Sobre la Roca, a mission that functions as a campus of First Baptist West Church.

Morgan Sharkey

Kids Director

Morgan was born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma and grew up attending First Baptist West. In addition to her role at FBW Morgan is also a kindergarten teacher here in Lawton. She loves working with children through her ministry and in the classroom. Morgan’s passion is helping build strong foundations for learning and for growing in Jesus.

Plashiel Rojas

Preschool Director
