The Preschool Ministies (Babies- 5 Year thru Kindergarten) exist to partner with parents in nurturing the spiritual growth and development of our youngest children. With this purpose in mind, we offer spiritually nourishing and developmentally appropriate educational activities for all ages of preschooler. It is our goal to provide a clean, safe, and loving environment in which our children can learn and thrive.

As your child is growing and developing at First West, we want to minister to the whole child. In the planning of our programs, we consider all areas of development: mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. All our programs provide an opportunity for your child to grow in the nurture and love of the Lord.

Grow In Missions!

Preschoolers come to understand that God loves me, God loves all people, and some people do not know about God’s love. Preschoolers about missions by helping them learn about missions work in North America and around the world, pray for missionaries and people who need to hear of God’s love, give to missions through cooperative giving and special missions offerings, and do missions by helping others in your church, your community, and around the world.

Music Makers

Preschoolers will be listening, singing, moving, playing instruments, and learning how to worship God.

Hello Church Family,

This month, our preschoolers will be learning that God made us and exploring the beautiful story of Ruth through our fun and inspiring theme: Superheroes!

We’ll even have a Superhero Photo Area where our little heroes can take pictures and celebrate what they’ve learned! On the last Sunday of the month (Nov 30th) we’ll have our Superhero Celebration during Sunday School and the second service. Everyone is invited to come dressed as their favorite superhero that day!

Our Mission Friends program will continue for two more Sundays — November 2 and November 9 — at 5:00 PM. Don’t miss it!

On Sunday, November 23, our whole church family will come together for a special Christmas Decorating Day! We would love for parents to join us in decorating the preschool area for Christmas. We welcome your ideas, your creativity, and even photos for inspiration! Feel free to bring decorations and coordinate with me so we can create a warm and festive Christmas atmosphere for our kids.

Lastly, if you are a parent and are not yet part of our Preschool Group, please let me know! We’ll have a QR code displayed in the preschool area so you can join easily and stay updated on all the fun things happening for our little ones — from babies to Kindergarten.
